Johnson Creek Sweeps Williams Bay in Three Sets (Volleyball)

On Thursday, September 25th, the Johnson Creek Bluejays Varsity volleyball team defeated Williams Bay at Johnson Creek High School, three sets to none.

The Bluejays started out strong in the first set, dominating Williams Bay and winning the first set, 25-9. Johnson Creek carried that momentum to the second set, taking control once again and securing the 25-11 win. They then closed out the match in the third set with a 25-10 victory. 

Over the three sets, Attigun Benz led the team with 10 kills, Cece Micale had 5 blocks, and Cari Armstrong served 6 aces to secure the win.

This victory also marks the third year in a row that Johnson Creek has defeated Williams Bay, continuing their rivalry.

On Tuesday, September 30th, the Johnson Creek Bluejays (9-7 overall, 4-1 in conference) will travel to Abundant Life/Saint Ambrose (21-5 overall, 4-0 in conference) for a conference matchup.
