Nadboralski Leads the Way for Bluejays at Nightfall Classic (Cross Country)

On October 3rd, the Johnson Creek cross country team traveled to Green Lake for the Nightfall Classic while competing in the dark.
For the women’s individual finish, Lauren Nadboralski pushed through for her team, taking 10th place with a time of 21:09.70, also beating her time of 21:33.00 from the Horicon River Run meet.
Following close behind Lauren was Lia Constable, taking 11th with a time of 21:15.70, also greatly beating her last time of 21:43.10 from the Horicon River Run on September 25th. As for the rest of the women’s team, Kiara Dach came in 53rd with a time of 23:28.70 and Sophia Le in 128th with a time of 27:25.50.
The men’s team ended up with a score of 411 with Frankie Gutierrez having the highest placing for the men’s team, taking 30th place with a time of 18:32.80. Evan Chowanec toughed it out in second for his team, placing 68th with a time of 19:43.60.
Furthermore, Collin Hucke placed 96th with a time of 20:20.30, while Max Chowanec placed 112th with a time of 20:44.50. Duncan Thomas came in 144th with a time of 21:36.20, and Ryder Kerttula placed 223rd with a time of 27:58.70.
Overall, the Bluejays cross-country team did a phenomenal job in Green Lake. They are ready for the Trailways Conference Championships on October 16th, at 4 P.M., at the Winagamie Golf Course.
