Nadboralski Qualifies for State at Sectionals (Cross Country)

On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, the Johnson Creek cross-country team participated in the WIAA D3 Sectionals at Baertschi Farms in Albany to determine who would participate at state.

Lauren Nadboralski had a great finish for the Bluejays and qualified for state.  The women’s team placed 9th overall, with Lauren Nadboralski finishing third with a time of 20:50.60.  Additionally, Lia Constable placed 10th with a time of 21:28.40, Kiara Dach placed 56th with a time of 23:54.10, Sophia Le placed 81st with a time of 26:35.40, and Maddie Esteves placed 99th with a time of 28:55.60.

For the men's team, Franky Gutierrez just missed out on qualifying for state.  He finished 14th overall with a time of 18:04.20.  Additionally, Evan Chowanec placed 40th with a time of 19:10.60, Max Chowanec placed 55th with a time of 19:47.20, Collin Hucke placed 68th with a time of 20:08.70, and Duncan Thomas placed 77th with a time of 20:31.60.  Ryder Kerttula also set a personal record, finishing 127th overall with a time of 24:35.90.  

Lauren will go on to compete at state on Saturday, November 1st, in Wisconsin Rapids at Ridges Golf Course.
