Hartz dominates for Bluejays at home quad (Boys Wrestling)

On Tuesday, December 9th, the Johnson Creek Bluejays boys varsity wrestling team hosted a home quadrangular against Horicon, Wayland Academy, and Dodgeland. 

As a team, Johnson Creek finished 0-3. However, senior Luke Hartz went 3-0 in the 157 weight class with two technical falls and one forfeit. Furthermore, senior Owen Blakely scored victory in the 215 weight class via pinfall over Dodgeland's Gavin Merryfield.


In overall scoring, the Bluejays lost 35-11 to Horicon, 18-11 to Wayland Academy, and 24-12 to Dodgeland. 


The Johnson Creek Bluejays boys wrestling team will compete again on December 13th, 2025, in an invitational at Belleville High School alongside 12 other schools.
