Fincutter leads Bluejays in road win over Palmyra-Eagle (Boys Basketball)

On Friday, December 19th, 2025, the Johnson Creek Bluejays boys basketball defeated the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers at Palmyra-Eagle High School, 62-48.

The Bluejays struggled a bit out of the gate, trailing at halftime, 29-26.  However, the Bluejays dominated the scoring in the second half, outscoring Palmyra-Eagle 36-19.  The Bluejays would go on to win the game, 62-48.

For Johnson Creek, senior Brady Fincutter (0) led the way with 33 points on 13-of-21 shooting.  He was also 5-for-9 from three.  Additionally, junior Kace Freimund (13) had a double-double, scoring 11 points and snagging 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, for the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers, senior Ryan Brodzik (21) scored 15 points on 57% shooting.  He was also 3-for-5 from three.  Senior Justin Thomas (44) also added 14 points.

After the holidays, the Johnson Creek Bluejays (4-2) will battle the Rio Vikings (4-3) at Johnson Creek High School on Monday, December 29th, 2025.  Tip-off is at 7:15 pm.
