Parkview edges Johnson Creek (Boys Basketball)

JOHNSON CREEK - On Monday, December 15th, 2025, the Johnson Creek Bluejays boys basketball team fell short against the Parkview Vikings (4-1), 63-59.

The Bluejays controlled the first half and led by a score of 32-28 at halftime.  However, the Vikings would capitalize on going 14 of 28 from the free-throw line and battle back to win the game, 63-59.

For the Bluejays, juniors Hayden Wagner (1) and Jon Kamuchey (12) led the way with 15 points each.  Additionally, senior Brady Fincutter (0) scored 9 points, and sophomore Ethan Broich (24) had 8 points.

Meanwhile, for the Vikings, senior Oliver Friedrich (14) led the way with 23 points.  Furthermore, senior guard Aiden Crane (23) added 15 points, while senior Corbin Williams (3) had 12 points.

The Johnson Creek Bluejays (3-2) will travel on the road to battle the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (2-4) at Palmyra-Eagle High School on Friday, December 19th, 2025.  Tip-off is at 7:15 pm.
