Fincutter scores 1,000th point as Bluejays handle Palmyra-Eagle (Boys Basketball)

On Friday, February 6th, 2026, the Johnson Creek Bluejays boys basketball defeated the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (8-10) at Johnson Creek High School, 64-56.
The Bluejays had a packed house on Friday, partly because it was youth night, but mainly, people were coming to watch Brady Fincutter attempt to hit his 1,000th career point.
The Bluejays did not disappoint on Friday; they fought a hard battle the entire game. The first half was a toss-up, ending at 29-28 at halftime with the Bluejays winning. In the second half, the Bluejays ran the show. They had the lead the entire game after half, winning the game 64-56.
Senior Brady Fincutter hit his 1,000th point late in the second half of the game, and he finished with a team high of 17 points. Coming in right behind him, junior Hayden Wagner had 15 points.
The Johnson Creek Bluejays (11-8) will play Cambria-Friesland on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Johnson Creek High School.
